Whaaat iiiiiiis up guys?

If you are interested in knives, you can't avoid him: for a long time, Ben Peterson from Blade HQ was a real institution on Youtube. His videos were not just product presentations, but had a completely unique and entertaining style. After his end at Blade HQ, it was a short while style around Ben. However, he was not idle. Together with WE Knife, he developed a pocket knife that is absolutely tailored to Ben's needs and comes with a few clever features. Here comes the Banter.

First, there's the size: perhaps you remember Ben's requirement that a knife be no longer than his outstretched index finger? To test this, Ben likes to put his finger out the back of the blade and see if he can reach the tip. Thanks to its unexciting, universal contour, the handle made of blue G10 (Ben Blue) is very comfortable in the hand and can be used in a variety of positions. In the back, you'll find a lanyard hole through which you can thread a 550 paracord as a safety strap, for example. While the showside is made of a pure g10 scale, the opposite scale has a liner made of black steel, which also provides the super secure linerlock.

The blade is a very universally shaped Spearpoint blade that has been given a large hollow grind. The genius here is that WE Knife have chosen such a thin grind that the Banter is an incredible cutting machine. The S35VN blade just flies through the cut material and is up to all cutting tasks in EDC. Ceramic ball bearings provide a smooth opening of the blade, giving the Banter a certain playfulness.

Together with the black deep-carry clip, which allows the knife to disappear discreetly in your pocket, you get with the WE Knife Banter an impressively versatile EDC pocket knife that turns out to be an excellent companion in everyday life.

Civivi Baby Banter Stonewashed Black Handle
Civivi Baby Banter Stonewashed Black Handle Black Stonewashed Finish Ben-Petersen-Design compact EDC-Knife Small update WE Knife's Banter has quickly established itself as one of the best EDC pocket knives around. No wonder: this Ben Peterson design (Knafs, ex-Blade HQ) is so handy and functional that it simply works well in everyday life. Now Ben has gone one better and brought out an even more compact version of the knife in collaboration with Civivi. The Baby Banter is not only a little smaller, but also uses a different steel. But first things first: there is the slightly modified handle, which offers enough space for all 4 fingers thanks to a small finger recess at the base of the blade. Thanks to the universal shape, the Baby Banter is perfectly suitable for small to medium-sized hands. Only with very large hands, you might better reach for the WE Knife Banter. Thanks to the finger choil, you can reach very close to the cutting edge and thus put a lot of force into the cutting movement (for example, when carving). Like its big brother, the Banter is equipped with handle scales made of robust G10. The blade steel used here is stainless Nitro-V steel, which has been given a stonewash finish. This nitrogen-alloyed steel is very resistant and offers versatile possibilities in use. Should the cutting edge ever become blunt, it can be quickly resharpened. A smooth blade action is provided by the built-in ball bearings, so that even the Baby Banter can have some fun. The whole thing is rounded off by a convertible deep-carry pocket clip, which makes your Baby Banter discreetly disappear in your pocket.
